Notice is hereby given by the City of New Kensington that the Citizen Participation Plan (the Plan) for the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program has been amended and is available for inspection and comment. The Plan outlines the City’s responsibilities for engaging the public on the CDBG and other HUD programs passed through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Plan has been amended to include new provisions related to the COVID-19 pandemic allowing for a shorter window for comment and virtual meetings as needed.
Copies of the plan are available on-line at: www.newkensingtonpa.org. All comments received by May 29, 2020 will be considered.
