There are many ways to address blight. This includes restoration and the rehabilitation of existing and long-cherished architectural community icons. Recent examples include the rehabilitation of the former Ritz Theater which now houses Voodoo Brewery and efforts underway to restore the former Dattola Theater. Pictured below is the historic Bloser Mansion, an architectural masterpiece that is currently being restored to become a Bed and Breakfast. An example of redevelopment in the process includes renovations to the former Schreiber Industrial Park, which now houses the New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park and is well on its way to becoming a source of major employment in New Kensington.
